AirnodeHub now lists Context7 for searching software-library documentation and code examples. The entry was absent from the official catalog captured on October 12 and present on October 13. That establishes a recent catalog addition, rather than an exact launch date for Context7 or its Airnode integration.

The Context7 listing is marked Premium and Sponsored, with fees covered by AirnodeHub during early access. Its three listed operations currently display Free. This is the present access arrangement, not a promise that calls will remain free indefinitely.

Library versions are part of the request

The Airnode’s published contract exposes searchLibraries, which finds a library’s Context7 identifier and indexed versions, followed by getContext for a question about that library. A third operation, searchDocumentation, accepts a question with optional library, version and language preferences.

The distinction matters when a project depends on an older release. A version preference can direct retrieval toward documentation for that release, but it is not an unconditional guarantee of a matching result. Context7’s own API reference says the search may return current documentation when a requested version is unavailable, reporting that outcome in the response’s version information.

The live self-description identifies Airnode version 0.1.2 and API document version 2.0.0.

The relay supplies the attestation

The Hub categorizes this entry as third-party and lists it under API3. Its attestation identifies the serving Airnode, rather than establishing that Context7 signed the upstream response or endorsed the relay. The documented unsigned passthrough option, x-airnode-sign=false, omits that attestation.

The addition gives developers another documented route to documentation about particular libraries. Version information and source links still need to be checked against the project and release being worked on.
